Dear Colleagues and Friends,

As Co-Presidents of the 29th International Congress of Applied Psychology, we are pleased to invite you to the Congress which will take place from June 26-30, 2018 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The Congress, an event of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), is being hosted in 2018 by the Canadian Psychological Association in collaboration with MCI Canada.

Applied Psychology uses the methods and findings of scientific psychology to create solutions for the practical problems of individuals, groups and societies. We chose the theme for the 2018 ICAP -- Psychology: Connecting Science to Solutions -- to highlight this thriving partnership between science and practice and to extend a warm invitation to both scientists and practitioners.

The ICAP was last held in Montréal in 1974, and we are delighted to welcome you back after all of these years to the Palais des congrès de Montréal, a modern and attractive venue right in the heart of the city. Montréal has been described as a “slice of old Europe in a pie of contemporary design”; it is a world class multicultural city and the proudly recognized centre of francophone culture in North America. Montréal was named a UNESCO City of Design in 2006, and the International Congress and Convention Association in 2009 named it North America's leading host city for international association events.

We warmly invite you to attend the International Congress of Applied Psychology in Montréal in 2018. Mark your calendar today. We will create an outstanding opportunity for connecting with researchers, practitioners, educators and students from around the globe. We look forward to welcoming you to Montréal!
